This is on one of the Infamous Rap show tape rips I’m doing, from January 1992, the audio is below (listen or download)

In the chorus he says “Rock the girl G, I’m gonna give you every inch of my love” and before I heard the bit Rock the girl G I thought it was Craig G.
I haven’t heard this on a 12 and it’s not on the Kingpin LP (that’s if I’m correct, maybe not!)
Any chance someone can ID it? It’s from a tape dated January 1992.

yeah G i got this lemme have a quick search…hold up
yep thought i had this. Off the album ‘Cold Facts’ by Too Nice! Produced by Tunde-Ra-Aleem and Edwin Birdsong. 1988. Only a couple of good tracks on here to be honest.
Had a feeling that track was Marley Marl produced but i might have dreamt that i dunno..
matter of fact it was prolly the same vinyl as on that tape u ripped it from!
Yo DungAlert, you are correct, my young Homie. That album had some def beats on it, but unfortunately it had a lot of wack lyrics on it too!!! Too Nice?! More like Too Bad!
I’m outta here!

P.s. Everyone should check out the battle between Busy Bee and Kool Moe Dee on youtube. Kool Moe Dee was the lyrical king back then. His raps changed everything for the better back in the day. He was right to say LL Cool J was a biter too. I remember when people mocked me for liking KMD. I blame Teddy Riley for his downfall!
