Raw new beats from the Palace Of Villainy

I am always knocking up new beats, always looking to collaborate with vocalists, so I decided to start upping my beats for your listening pleasure. I’ll be posting tracks from the current era and from the last couple of years. They’ve been in the vaults but I always get to a point with a track and then kind of leave it, even though I know I could get it out… If you are interested in collabing I use Logic 8, or I can knock a beat up in Ableton Live 7 or Reason 4 if you want the full file.

So this beat’s called Def Decibels, a slow grinder with a murderous bass line, so any MCs that wanna spit bars on it lemme know, or just download it, bung it in your DAW of choice, drop verbals on it and send me a mixdown.

Hey Steve, how’s things. Just listening to a few bits and doodads here and there. I like this beat and who gives a chuff about the quality as the bones are there still in tact.
Hehe, I’ve got a 4-track kicking about but I can’t let it go just yet as I’m a lazy cnut with my own backlog stack of 4-track tapes needing digitising first!
I hear you on the pause-button mixes – I think every budding uk hip hop jock started out like that. And remember what all that practice did? It taught you exquisite timing. Unfortunately I used to practice during Mike Allen’s shows. Big mistake.
I see you’ve got a nice Mac and use Logic. Damn, I’ve got a shite PC and use Reason 3.
But then when I’m at college I get to use a spanky new Mac and Logic 8 so it’s all good. Sort of. All things being well I should have a MacBook by this Christmas anyway.
