Streetsounds Nu Electro 1

This has been all over the web for the last couple of weeks and I just wanted to post something on here about the Streetsounds label, and the Electro series.
For those that don’t know, Morgan Khan was responsible for releasing some of the most groundbreaking music in the UK in the early 1980s. The Electro series practically broke the genre in the UK with the Electro LPs. I was, and am still addicted to Electro and hold it in high esteem… this is reflected in my record collection, as I own almost every original import 12″ from the Electro series, something of a personal mission of completion!
Well, the new tracks sound good! You can stream new music from the streetsounds website to check it out, and you can also pre order the new double vinyl.
I’ll add some promo releases to the site as and when they turn up so you can check them out.
i just got the vinyl through this morning yo! haven’t even unsealed it yet. apparently u could send a tag in for the inside of the gatefold. shit, missed out on that one. maybe next time! speaking of which, hope they manage to take the series in a hip hop/electro funk type direction rather than a european techno style electro but i won’t hold my breath on that one ..still, might have to open it up and check it out nice and loud now, have a def little mix

The album is really piss poor, and can’t get it in our HMV or Zavvi shops in Scotland at all? havent even seen it in our electro shop in Edin???????
People payed to get on this album… It says on the streetsounds website normally $250 bucks – what idiots would do that, some artists are desperate i suppose
