This is what Hip Hop geeks dream about… especially UK ones! For the uninitiated, Repo136 runs one of the most popular Old School UK Hip Hop sites around, Ageing B Boys Unite . We started chatting about 2 years ago and found we had a lot in common. A few months back, just before Christmas we were going to record a podcast but real life got in the way, so here we are with a full on interview to see what makes up the Repo man. Some dope music and extremely in depth chat about the old days of life in Hip Hop in the UK.
So, join us for (what should have been but ended up being 2 1/2 hours) 2 hours ( *ahem) of old school UK Hip Hop banter with the man behind the early 90s rap fanzine “Juice”. Enjoy!
If you are interested in telling the world your stories via the interview medium please get in contact, hit us up at thediscoscratch@gmail.com peace!

Great show. Respect 2 u & Repo. I did put a comment in already but 4 last post-looks like i don’t just have a bad memory,my brains shot 2 @#ck(actually it’s fones screen that scrolls while loading & me thinking i clicked the right post-what a ‘dinlo’)!
Hey mate, love show – bringing back mad memories!
It was such a common occurrence with the customized tape covers.
Peas,
Duce
Nice one fellers glad you enjoyed it! Duce your time will come old son!!!
Thanks again Waxer. Really enjoyed it. Definitely looking forward to everyone else who appears from whatever walk of life.
Ocean Pacific’s-i had yellow t shirt with handglider on the back, wore it til wore it out(about 85). The style was op tops with
american football tops over the top of them. Miami Dolphins was the one 2 get-like main geezer that worked in Domino records with long blond hair(pre last owner who’s a knob!). Also white Pepe’s mixed with black were the ones! Fiourucci done a weird pink colour with black-£1.50 in ‘Hellrazers’.(when in the Tricorn)
Wasn’t too sure if this would work and I’ve had the show on my iPod for a few days now, but I finally gave it a listen today and man it was a corker! Kinda like sitting in the pub with a couple of mates shooting the breeze, it made this morning at work go ultra quick (always welcome). Very much like the sound of your mate in Portsmouth too – bring on the Mike!
Cheers lads, great show.
