This year, we bring it back to where Hip Hop started… a mix swap ON CASSETTE ONLY!!!

Back in 2006 Heroes of UK Hip Hop started the mix swap and it has been legendary.  Disco Scratch is going to continue this great way of getting involved by moving forward (or backwards depending on how you look at it!) with a mix swap only on one of these…

So I have only just started the ball rolling with this and I expect a load of cross talk about this over the coming weeks and months… you’ll need to start scanning your newspapers in the adverts in the back, charity shops, boot sales, your nan & grand dads attic… I’m aiming for the mix swap to be complete in the summer, allowing plenty of time to get everything you need together, do the mix, dub off your copies and get them in to the nominated organiser.

This is being discussed in the forum, the only official place to submit and discuss ideas:

I have also started a Facebook group… however this is only to garner interest and point people to the forum, it is not intended to be used for all the discussions regarding this, here’s the group link:

So, join the forum, or post in there if you haven’t already and let’s get this moving…

After all, this is how Hip Hop started… mix tapes from the Bronx in the early 1970s… ecstacy garage, Bronx River Centre… the tagline to this website is “Roots of The UK Hip Hop Scene”, which is why this MUST BE ON CASSETTE!

Imagine playing your dope new mix in the summer with a cold beer on one of these and tell me you won’t have a massive smile???

Told ya!

“D! MUTHAFUCKA D!!!”

SEE YA IN THE FORUM!
