B Girl Corrina

So the missus is another year older on Friday 3rd June…we had a laugh in the POV and I just played a load of tunes augmented with a couple large glasses of Courvoisier, which was nice!  If you like a bit of old soul, funk, rare groove etc, plus a bit of other stuff chucked in for good measure, have a listen!

This was the night of the Rakim concert and while I was still on air I had a call off my mellow Steve B and got an on the spot report from the likes of Finchy, Steve B, Dan Fluent & Inch High… plus Steve rang while RA was rhymi accapella which was nice, it’s all in this audio, enjoy!

Merry Christmas one and all, and albeit a little late, here’s the podcast!  The first Disco Scratch podcast, we had a good laugh making it and we hope you like it.  The spirit of what I’m going to be doing with this, is just let my guests be themselves, talk about the music they love, experiences, whatever really…just be natural.

I’ll be speaking to personal friends over the coming months, and some people that are know in the UK Hip Hop scene.

Well, Corrina joined me for the first one and we spoke about sampling, soul, funk, Rare Groove, all kinds of stuff, a little over an hour.  I’m writing this on Christmas Eve at just after twenty past nine, with two ridiculously excited kids upstairs!
