What a pleasure it was to get 2 hours with Shane Robitaille as we discussed the ideas, development, history, likes and loves of the man himself and the creative process that went into his latest book, “Rockit Crew”. I was particularly interested in this as the story has similar elements to my own life, my own experiences with Hip Hop culture. The book is a fantastic snapshot into the life, heart and mind of a kid trying to find his feet in a world where all that matters is your friends and the tape in your boombox!
